About Capoeira Rio Maui
Capoeira Rio Maui is a Capoeira academy located on the beautiful island of Maui. Our mission is to teach people of all ages the art of Capoeira, a Brazilian martial art that combines elements of dance, acrobatics, and music. At Capoeira Rio Maui, we believe that Capoeira is not just a physical practice, but a way of life. We strive to create a welcoming and inclusive community where everyone can learn, grow, and have fun.

KEY PRINCIPLES OF CAPOEIRA RIO MAUI
Mestre Guepardo has been practicing Capoeira since 1995 and has trained under the tutelage of Mestre Pontape & Serpente under the supervision of Mestre Hulk. He founded Capoeira Rio Maui with the goal of spreading his love for Capoeira and creating a community of Capoeiristas on Maui.
Mestre Guepardo created Capoeira Rio Maui after emigrating from Brazil to Hawaii, his purpose is to share his love of capoeira and his wealth of experience with students, based on his values of respect, discipline, tradition and a wealth of Aloha.
Mestre Guepardo is committed to the preservation and values of capoeira as an art, but also sharing it throughout Hawaii and beyond.​
